Brother DCP-J105 Drivers Download– The DCp-J015 provides a high volume and fast printing solution at an affordable price. It comes with a set of InkBenefit Cartridges which gives an amazing 2,400-page yield for the black cartridge and a 1,300-page yield for the color cartridge. The company has used a laminated Piezo print head to minimize print head wear thereby minimizing maintenance costs.
The printer can print up to 11ppm in mono and 6ppm in color mode. Users can also configure it to print and scan over the wireless network but you need to configure it once with your windows/mac machine before doing it.
Installation
To install the printer, you must first install the MFL-pro suite using the supplied CD, then connect the printer to the system using a USB cable. The installation process is quite simple and the company has included a detailed step-by-step tutorial in its Quick setup guide for windows and Mac.
Unfortunately, the CD that comes with the printer doesn’t have an updated driver for Mac and we felt a bit confused to search and download it from the site. For windows, it works like a charm and we can easily configure it without a problem.
Print quality
The print quality is quite good, it can print color and black and white pages with decent quality
It comes with an adjustable Paper tray that contains paper length and width guides. Users can adjust this manual according to paper dimensions such as A4, EXE, etc. When you use the printer for the first time, it will guide you to check the print quality by printing a test page.
Scan & Copy Functions
The DCp-J105 can also be used to scan or copy documents. Users can do color copy or Mono document. The printer allows users to control copy quality, number of copies, page layout, and remove backgrounds. The copy and scan functions work flawlessly and you can scan documents up to 1200 dpi.
The DCP-J105 is available in India for around Rs 9,500. There are several other printers on the market that have a lower price tag but do not offer the features and page yields offered by this printer. This is a great product for users looking for high volume and fast printing at an affordable price.
This is a multi-function printer whose dimensions are bigger. On the front is a single-line text display indicating. but all settings, including initial connection to wifi, can be done. Also including a detachable panel on the front side, target markets will include text labels. In my package the panels are in Polish, so I left the blades, I used the printer. Further packaging labels with translation descriptions for more market coverage compatibility. The paper tray is not under the printer, the maximum paper size is A4, maybe Letter (I tried). The printer does not support automatic printing on both sides of a printed page for immediate feeding into the feeder. Print toner is already in the box with the printer, it even looks as full as it was when bought, which is a great find.
How long the toner will last until tests show after a few days/weeks/months. As far as to print quality issues I have with it, a classic inkjet printer. When printing text, where the image is important, it is printed in Photo / best guide, when printing text will suffice in Normal mode. I’m afraid it will be a poor quality scanner based on one review. My fear is unnecessary, the scanner scans office/home requests completely with ease. It may not be suitable for scanning photos for archiving, however, scanning documents or magazine pages without problems. But I recommend scanning in Photo mode, the color text mode is scanned and the image is formed through a small rainbow stripe, but this completes the Photo mode (difference in dpi – for 300 texts, 600 in photos). The printer can scan to a PC and even to the Cloud Service. Copy color and mono master even without PC offline mode.
The software that comes with the printer is clear, everything is installed, hassle-free, and the wifi works fine. SW can set multiple options between 2 modes – Domestic and Advanced. During periods of non-use, the printer enters sleep mode to save power. For the printer, it has been packaged with a USB cable, but due to the wifi setting via the screen, it is not needed.
