Canon PIXMA MG3070 Review– The cartridges are financially priced at Rs. 499 for Black and RS. 746 for coloured ink. Both cartridges can print up to 100 pages approximately. The best purchase of the Canon PIXMA MG3070 is around Rs. 3 600, which seems to be a perfect price tag for the printer. Looking at the overall performance, it’s quite impressive for basic printing and scanning tasks at home or small office. It is very cost effective and does not compromise with the quality of the pressure. Features such as wireless printing add more value to the package.

Weighing about 3.5 kg, PIXMA MG3070 is not exactly easy. Then again, for something that is likely to sit on a desk all the time, it’s not a problem either. With a (slightly) box-like shape, MFP Sports a matte-finished plastic construction with a dull black lacquer finish. The front has a Canon logo printed in the middle and just below it, there is a fairly large recessed section. A multi-stage retractable output bin sits at the bottom. Just above that, there’s a small horizontal plastic tab that you can open to access (and replace, when the need arises) ink cartridges.

Open on the back, it rests at an angle and can be used to feed everything from different large paper to envelopes in the PIXMA MG3070. The entire upper panel is taken up by a large secondary lid, which hides the scanner bed underneath it. On the left side of the scanner bed lid There are five buttons and seven status lights (placed) to the left of the buttons) positioned vertically. The functions of the buttons and LEDs are clearly marked on/toward them. The back of the MFP is largely clean, with the exception of a power port and a USB type B port.
